Virtual Meeting FAQs
Q. When will the Virtual Meeting be
held?
A. The meeting will be held Sunday, April 30–Friday, May 5
and will be broadcasted live online based on the Central Time Zone.
Q. What is the registration deadline?
A. The regular registration deadline for the meeting will
be March 31. After March 31, late registrations will
only be accepted online through April 28. To obtain the
best registration rates, plan to register by the earlybird
deadline of February 17.
Q. Does my membership need to be
current in order to attend at the
ARRS member rate?
A. Yes, to receive the discounted member registration
rates, your ARRS membership must be current at the
time of registration as well as for the duration of the
Virtual Meeting and the duration of access to the
complimentary meeting recordings after the meeting.
If membership has lapsed or will lapse between the
date of registration and the final date of access to the
complimentary meeting recordings available after the
meeting, the registrant must either renew membership
or pay the nonmember registration fees. Discounted
meeting registration fees are a benefit for current
ARRS members.
Q. Can I become an ARRS member
to take advantage of registration
savings?
A. Absolutely! Nonmembers may apply for membership
and receive the Virtual Meeting member registration
fee discount. Nonmembers should submit a
membership application with the Virtual Meeting
registration form by fax or mail prior to April 21 to
receive the member registration fee discount. After
April 21, you must register for the Virtual Meeting at
the nonmember registration rate.

Membership. Be sure to indicate
on the online form that you plan
to attend the ARRS 2017 Annual
Meeting and fax your Meeting
registration form to the ARRS at
703-729-4839 after submitting your
online membership application.

Membership. Send the completed
application with your Virtual Meeting
registration form by fax to 703-
729-4839 or mail both documents
to: ARRS, 44211 Slatestone Court,
Leesburg, VA 20176-5109.
Q. Will I receive a registration
confirmation?
A. Registration confirmations are emailed to registrants.
It is important to provide your email address with
your registration materials to ensure receipt of your
confirmation and any updates regarding the meeting.
Make sure the email address provided is set up to
accept messages from ARRS so your Virtual Meeting
communications do not go to a SPAM or junk mail
folder or become blocked entirely.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. Written requests for cancellation
should be sent by email to meeting@arrs.org; by fax to 703-729-4839; or

by March 31 will be processed after the Virtual
Meeting minus a $100 nonrefundable cancellation fee.
After March 31, cancellations will be processed but
refunds will not be issued. Cancellations will not be
accepted by telephone. Refund requests of the $100
nonrefundable cancellation fee will not be considered
regardless of the registration category, amount paid,
or when requested. A submitted registration form
online, by fax, or mail serves as acknowledgement,
acceptance, and agreement of these cancellation
policies.
Q. Can I transfer my Virtual Meeting
registration to an Annual Meeting
registration?
A. Yes, you may transfer your Virtual Meeting registration
record to an Annual Meeting registration record by
providing a written request by email to meeting@arrs.org; by fax to 703-729-4839; or by mail to: ARRS,
44211 Slatestone Court, Leesburg, VA 20176-5109.
Written requests received by March 31 will require
a $100 nonrefundable transfer fee in addition to any
additional meeting registration fees to make the
requested change in the meeting registration record.
After March 31, requests to transfer from the Virtual
Meeting to the Annual Meeting can only be processed
at the ARRS On-site Registration Welcome and
Information Center in New Orleans and will require
a $200 nonrefundable transfer fee in addition to any
additional meeting registration fees to make the
requested change to the meeting registration record.
