2012 Annual Meeting — Resident Travel Grants

Two ARRS Travel Grants will be given at $2,000 each for residents and fellows interested in attending the 2012 ARRS Annual Meeting April 29 – May 4 in Vancouver, Canada. The grants, funded by FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, provide funding for meeting registration, lodging and travel.

 

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Must be a radiology resident or a fellow at the time of the ARRS Annual Meeting in May 2012.
  2. Must be enrolled in a residency program in the US.
  3. Must either be a current member of ARRS or have a membership application pending at the time of the Travel Award application.

 

Required applications materials:

  1. A one- to two-page, double-spaced personal statement of why you would like to attend the ARRS Annual Meeting and what you hope to gain from the experience.
  2. A copy of your CV.
  3. A letter of recommendation from your training/program director, including a statement that you are in good standing. Please include contact information for the training/program director.

 

The application deadline is Monday, February 13, 2012. Applications should be submitted via e-mail to Nora Ianni at nianni@arrs.org. Award winners will be notified in mid-March.
