Program Objectives
The 2010 annual meeting of the American Roentgen Ray Society has three goals:
- to offer an educational forum in the practice and science of radiology based on recognized needs;
- to provide a forum to report on, exchange information on and disseminate new developments and expert knowledge in radiology; and
- to ensure that the educational activities have influenced participants’ knowledge, skills, behavior and practice performance.
Who Should Attend
Radiologists, radiologists-in-training and other health professionals interested in the science and practice of radiology.
Accreditation Statement
The ARRS is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical educational activities for physicians.
Designation Statement
ARRS designates this educational activity for a maximum of 57 AMA PRA Category 1™ credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.In order to receive CME credit, the attendee must fill out the online CME forms. A Web address will be sent to attendees before, during and after the meeting which will direct them to the CME forms.A record of CME credits earned will be available to ARRS members on www.arrs.org. The ARRS has developed a Web-based tracking system that includes all CME credits earned through the ARRS Annual Meeting and other ARRS CME activities as well as SAM, PQI and subspeciality credits.

Cell Phone Policy
Attendees are asked to have their cell phones on vibrate or turned off during all sessions.
Photography Policy
Picture taking or recording, other than by official photographers or videographers, is prohibited in the educational sessions as well as all other areas included as part of the annual meeting activities.
No-Smoking Policy
The ARRS has established a no-smoking policy for all of its meetings. The no-smoking policy applies to the meeting rooms as well as the exhibit hall.

After March 26, all registrations will be done on-site in San Diego, CA.
Nonmembers may apply for ARRS membership any time prior to and during the annual meeting and receive the membership registration fee discount. Nonmembers must submit a membership application with the annual meeting registration form by fax or mail prior to March 26, 2010, to receive the membership registration fee discount. After March 26, the membership application and annual meeting registration form must be submitted together at on-site registration in San Diego.
Cancellations received prior to March 26, 2010, will be processed after the meeting minus a $100 cancellation fee. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations for any reason after March 26, 2010.
Effective January 20, 2010, the United States Department of Homeland Security requires all visitors traveling under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) to register online at the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) website. If VWP travelers have not registered through ESTA, travelers will be denied boarding on any air carrier bound for the United States.
