as course directors, moderators, and/or as faculty members for ARRS programs. This one-stop, comprehensive section for educators will provide current information regarding learning theory and techniques, resources, models, and samples of materials that can be used to plan, conduct, teach and evaluate educational activities.

eaching Methodologies

  1. Rubio EI, Bassignani M, White, M, Brant WE. Effect of an audience response system on resident learning and retention of lecture material. AJR 2008; 190:W319-W322

    This experimental study compared residents who learned in a traditional didactic format to those who experienced interactive learning with an audience response system.  The later experimental group scored higher on post-testing and at 3 months later.  Results were significant for comprehension and retention.  For the entire article….
