Who Should Attend
Radiologists, radiology residents, technologists, and other healthcare professionals who want to acquaint and train themselves in digital mammography reading and assess their reading skills.
Goals and Objectives
Following completion of this program, the participants should be more familiar with reading and manipulating screening digital mammography cases and will have assessed their reading skills.
This workshop gives participants the opportunity for hands-on experience. Participants register for up to six one-hour sessions. Each session starts with an introduction that includes the learning objectives of the workshop, the method of reading and self-assessment, and instruction on how to use the system. The participant will have 45 minutes to read the cases then assess their own number of false positives and false negatives, and discuss the cases with the medical experts. Six different case modules are available, each one containing 30 selected screening mammography cases with a mix of biopsy proven positives and negatives. Each module is independent of the others; they do not need to be completed sequentially.
