On behalf of the Executive Council and the membership
of the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), you are
cordially invited to participate in the 2008 ARRS Annual Meeting.
The meeting is scheduled for April 13-18 at the Marriott
Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC. The exhibit hall opens
with an evening opening reception on Sunday. It is open
Monday, April 14–Wednesday, April 16 from 9:15 am–4:30 pm.
The 2008 commercial exhibition will provide your company with the opportunity to:
- showcase and promote products and services to approximately 2,000 physicians representing both
academic and private practice,
- develop new sales contacts in the radiology community,
- network and interact with current users of your company’s products and services.
Our meeting provides a unique opportunity for you to spend quality time with attendees to build
stronger relationships with current and potential customers.
The exhibit hall will provide the venue for morning and afternoon refreshment breaks. In addition, we
are offering a wide range of sponsorship options (see page 10) to provide you with the opportunity to
increase your company's visibility at this important conference.
The 2008 scientific program will feature a categorical course on emergency and trauma radiology,
which will run throughout the week. Instructional courses and scientific paper presentations on abdominal
imaging, breast and women’s imaging, chest imaging, neuroradiology, cardiac imaging, musculoskeletal
imaging, ultrasound and vascular and interventional radiology will also be held throughout
the week. A case-based review course covering eleven subspecialty areas in radiology is also planned.
Your presence at this meeting will help you build your company’s image and reinforce its leadership
position in the field of radiology. I look forward to having you join us in the nation’s capitol.
Sincerely,

Anton N. Hasso, MD, President
American Roentgen Ray Society
