Who Should Attend
Radiologists, radiology residents, and other healthcare professionals who want to assess and improve their digital mammography interpretation skills as well as their skills using computer aided detection.
Goals and Objectives
Following completion of this program, the participants should gain proficiency in manipulating and interpreting screening digital mammography cases. Participants will assess their reading skills to detect cancers in their early stage with and without CAD and learn how to maintain a good balance between recall rate and detection rate.
The American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The American Roentgen Ray Society designates this educational activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Program:
The same course is being offered on three consecutive days. Each day will combine lectures with hands-on workshops. Each attendee will have an opportunity to review and test their interpretation skills with more than 100 digital mammography cases. The course is limited to 60 people. ARRS will assign attendees to either “Group A” or “Group B,” with a maximum of 30 people in each group.
