The Roentgen Fund^®

Recent Donors

The mission of The Roentgen Fund^® is to promote and support educational, scientific and research initiatives that contribute to excellence in radiology. This will be accomplished through the awarding of grants, fellowships, stipends and other financial support to individuals, groups and organizations that have met specific criteria for each program.

Currently, funded programs include the American Roentgen Ray Society Scholar, the Berlin Scholar, the Resident in Radiology Awards and the Figley and Rogers Fellowships in Radiology Journalism. The Roentgen Fund^® will provide additional funding for new initiatives, programs and projects that are deemed by the American Roentgen Ray Society Executive Council to further the goals of the fund and contribute to excellence in the profession of radiology and of medicine.

Administration
The Roentgen Fund^® is a distinct and segregated fund managed by the American Roentgen Ray Society. It is not merged with any operating funds of the Society. The Roentgen Fund^® was established to receive any gift or bequest from individuals, groups, corporations or other entities. The Society operates as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States, and donations to The Roentgen Fund by individuals are deductible as charitable gift contributions.The Society welcomes and encourages support of The Roentgen Fund^® by your donation, gift or bequest to this fund. We will be pleased to discuss any special arrangements that you may wish to make. Donations of real or personal property will be accepted. Before acceptance, the donor should be aware that such gifts are to be evaluated by the Society as to the feasibility of conversion into cash that can be invested. Donations made to The Roentgen Fund^® will be prudently invested, and the earnings from those investments will be used to support the awards. The Roentgen Fund^®, through the American Roentgen Ray Society, will assist the donor in making the transaction as easy as possible. For inquiries, or to make a donation, please contact:
