Stella Kang

Dr. Kang is a tenured Associate Professor of Radiology and Population Health at NYU Langone Health, where she practices abdominal radiology and serves as Associate Chair of Population Health Imaging and Outcomes. As a principal investigator, she applies methods of comparative effectiveness research, including decision science and evidence synthesis, as well as health care delivery science. She completed her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College and residency at NYU School of Medicine, where she also served as chief resident. After completing her clinical fellowship at Massachusetts GeneralHospital, Dr. Kang obtained a master's degree in clinical investigation concentrated in comparative effectiveness research at NYU. She has also served as a teaching fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health and Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in Advanced Medical Decision-Making. Dr. Kang was previously a consulting editor for the Best Practices series in AJR before joining as a section editor.
