Learning Outcomes and Modules
After completing this course, the learner should be able to:
- Evaluate the implications of risk-based breast cancer by analyzing advancement in screening guidelines, diagnostic imaging techniques, and the role of supplemental imaging tools.
- Apply evidence-based approaches in breast imaging to specific populations, including patients with implants, transgender individuals, and men, by interpreting imaging findings and utilizing BI-RADS for accurate assessment and diagnosis.
- Develop expertise on work-up of screen-detected abnormalities, symptomatic patients and patients with known cancer.
- Highlight the importance of rad-path correlation as a key component in breast imaging.
- Analyze key diagnostic findings to accurately stage gynecologic malignancies, including endometrial cancer and uterine sarcomas and evaluate treatment response by identifying typical patterns of recurrence.
- Interpret complex gynecologic and women's health imaging cases using multidisciplinary insights from tumor boards, incorporating emerging screening practices for osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, and lung cancer.
