Mexican Society of Radiology and Imaging
Since its founding in 1946, the Mexican Society of Radiology and Imaging (SMRI) has focused its mission on maintaining a high level of academic and scientific partners and other partner radiology groups in Mexico through its annual courses and General Radiology and Ultrasound on site weekly society meetings. In recent years, SMRI has organized international events with the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and the European School of Radiology. SMRI also maintains a technical school in Radiology, the oldest and most prestigious in the country.

Featured Journal Publication
The radiology journal, Anales de Radiología México, founded in 2002 is the only publication of its kind in Mexico specializing in radiology.

Global Exchange
SMRI participated in a Global Exchange featuring Mexico during the ARRS 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting. SMRI faculty worked with ARRS faculty to present the featured course, Tuberculosis: From Head to Toe. Dr. Nora Eugenia Rodríguez-Pedraza, SMRI President, was recognized during the Virtual Meeting with ARRS Honorary Membership.
