Global Education
The following open access educational offerings have been developed by ARRS, the ARRS International Outreach Committee, and ARRS Global Partners to share information on various topics in radiology. ARRS aims through the global education program to provide knowledge and expertise that is meant to be shared with radiologists, in-training radiologists, and allied professionals throughout the world. These global education offerings do not offer credit.
Hone your diagnostic skills with this weekly challenge that includes teaching points and suggested readings to fill in your knowledge gaps.
Changing Paradigms in Tumor Response Assessment
Hear from experts from the United States and Korea discussing the quickly evolving role of radiologists in tumor response
assessment. A wide variety of tumors, treatments, and techniques to assess treatment response will be reviewed.

This course presents five lectures and case review on a range of abdominal imaging topics.
Multimodality Acute Case Review: Radiology from Head to Below the Knee
This course will present a series of six case reviews in the following specialty areas of radiology: musculoskeletal, pediatric,
neuroradiology, head and neck, abdominal, and chest.
Gynecology and Obstetrics Ultrasound
Learn various uterine anomalies and the effects on infertility. Review ultrasound of uterine/cervical masses with a focus on
differentiation of benign and malignant processes, characteristics of adnexal masses, and O-RADS. Determine normal and abnormal
ultrasound findings in the first trimester of pregnancy and common predictors of pregnancy failure.
Abdominal Lecture Series: RSSA-ARRS Education Initiative
ARRS in collaboration with the Radiological Society of South Africa (RSSA) is pleased to offer this lecture series on Body MR imaging with a focus on abdominal topics.
HRCT: The Basics & Advanced
This course will review basic patterns of HRCT with a focus on using an approach to generate a concise differential diagnosis and will examine conditions diagnosed on HRCT.
Emergency and Trauma Radiology
This course features interactive presentations from experts on emergency and trauma radiology and will provide a comprehensive review of various injuries.
Brain Tumors: From Child to Adult
This course provides a comprehensive review of the role of conventional and advanced imaging techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors in children and adults, and reviews key concepts of the 2021 WHO classification of brain tumors. ARRS is proud to have partnered with the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM) to present this course.
Abdominal PET/CT: Innovations and Implications
This course focuses on recent innovations (new instrumentation and radiopharmaceuticals) that have implications for abdominal PET/CT in clinical practice. Session topics include: Technical Advances in PET/CT, Prostate PET/CT, Neuroendocrine PET/CT, and Lutathera: What You Need to Know to Start Your Program.
Biliary Imaging
This course focuses on diagnostic and therapeutic considerations in biliary imaging. MRCP: Role in Patient Care; Cholangiocarcinoma: Current Concepts; and the Role of Imaging Prior to Biliary Intervention are key concepts reviewed in this course.
Tuberculosis: From Head to Toe
Approximately 25 percent of the world population is infected with tuberculosis (TB), a disease that has resurged due to HIV, drug resistance, and socioeconomic factors. Imaging plays a central role in the diagnosis and management of TB. This course reviews manifestations of the disease throughout the body from head to toe. ARRS is proud to collaborate with the Sociedad Mexicana de Radiología e Imagen (SMRI) to present this course.
Imaging Cardiovascular Disease: The Argentina/USA Experience
This multimodality, multispecialty course highlights the similarities and different diagnostic approaches to common presentations and challenges of cardiovascular diseases.
Ever Evasive ENT Anatomy Web Lecture
This web lecture reviews the anatomy of the head and neck, particularly as it relates to pathology and clinical relevance, discusses the key points that create a succinct imaging differential diagnosis in the suprahyoid neck, and describes common skull base foramina.
Update on Genitourinary Sonography Web Symposium Presented in Spanish
ARRS in collaboration with the Sociedad Mexicana de Radiología e Imagen (SMRI) is pleased to present this web symposium. Lectures include topics related to the state-of-the-art use of ultrasound for the evaluation of the male reproductive organs and uterine imaging.
Musculoskeletal Lower Extremity Joints Web Lecture
This web lecture considers MR features and diagnosis relating to foot, ankle, and hindfoot pain; commonly missed injuries in lower extremity joints; and patterns of injuries seen on knee MRI.
Emergency Thoracic Conditions Web Lecture
This web lecture focuses on emergency thoracic conditions that may be encountered on call or in an emergency department. Discussion includes pulmonary embolism; imaging of aortic dissection, intramural hematoma, and penetrating atherosclerotic ulcer; pitfalls encountered in the imaging of potential ATAI; and key imaging features in thoracic trauma imaging.
SERAM-ARRS Imaging of Infections Web Symposium in Spanish
This web symposium comprises 59 lectures covering Imaging of Infections. Subjects covered in this symposium are Abdomen, Cardiothoracic, Neuroradiology, Pediatric, and Emergency. The material was presented by faculty of the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) and the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM) during the second scientific meeting sponsored by both global partners in Spain.
Liver Imaging Web Lecture
This web lecture will discuss the clinical definitions of NAFLD, NASH, and the metabolic syndrome, review the hardware and sequences that are important for body MRI, describe the findings at US, CT, and MR imaging that may facilitate diagnosis of HCC, and describe typical MR imaging features of early hepatocellular carcinoma.
Breast Imaging: Diagnostic Dilemmas Web Lecture
This web lecture describes the usefulness and limitations of contrast enhanced mammogram, discusses appropriate radiology pathology correlation and concordance for challenging breast masses, recognizes pitfalls of synthesized 2D mammogram and ways to overcome them, and discusses detection and management of architectural distortions on DBT.
